German photographer Hannes Caspar has many points of view. He’s a bit of a chameleon and doesn’t express a signature across his portfolio. Normally this would not be much of a complement but, in this case, I’m fascinated by his ability to embrace each subject without forcing it into a singular expression.
Caspar’s photographs do share some traits, however, they are quiet and infinitely curious, always exploring something new. From the fascination with slender blades of sunlight to the symmetry of mirrors and the broken plane of water’s surface the only commonality is an an almost childlike joy in discovery.
