Hans Feurer is an icon of fashion photography. After studying art in Switzerland, Feurer began his career as a graphic artist, illustrator and art director for several advertising agencies in London. In 1966, after traveling through Africa, he decided to become a professional photographer. He returned to London, and by 1967, Hans Feurer’s career was in full swing.
In 1983, Feurer photographed Iman for French luxury house, Kenzo, launching her career and bringing diversity to the forefront of fashion advertising. Feurer has contributed to the Pirelli Calendar, Sven, Nova, Vogue, Elle, Numero, Another, as well as many other premier fashion magazines.
