Steve Diet Goedde is an American photographer known for his erotic photographs of women paired with fetish imagery. He has had his photos published in several photography books, including The Beauty of Fetish and The Beauty of Fetish, Vol. II. ‘Diet’ is a nickname from “Coma Diet,” a past musical project.
Steve Diet Goedde learned the basics of darkroom work and photography from his father, an amateur photographer. Goedde was inspired by Richard Avedon, Lillian Bassman, and Diane Arbus. He attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he studied filmmaking and painting and refused to study photography stating that he had already acquired his aesthetic and visual style.
Steve celebrates his 25 years of photography in 2015 with a 3-volume book retrospective of his work entitled “ARRANGEMENTS” published by Century Guild. The three volumes will be released over a 3-year period beginning in the fall of 2015.
Steve Diet Goedde currently lives on the west side of Los Angeles.
