“I call them Gnomine (small women or gnomes). The name speaks of femininity, of the fragility of women who must act like dolls, nice and soft. The essence of dolls and beautiful women is to be mild. These women leave their doll world and enter the real world. They leave the elements of childhood, family and love to enter this unknown world.” – Anna Merli
